Caleb Boff turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. He turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Hilliard Darby is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise.

Boff's strong effort led Hilliard Darby over Dublin Jerome and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long.
