Basketball Recap: Boulder Piles Up the Points Against Prairie View

Boulder won the last time they faced Prairie View and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Boulder Panthers blew past the Prairie View Thunderhawks 62-11. That 51 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Boulder got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lexi Oder out in front who went 7 of 13 on her way to 16 points and seven steals. The match was Oder's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Matthews, who went 8 for 14 en route to 17 points.

The win made it two in a row for Boulder and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for Prairie View, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Boulder will take on Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boulder is facing Brighton at the right time seeing as Brighton is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Prairie View, they will challenge Westminster at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
