Basketball Recap: Encinal Takes a Loss

Encinal lost against Archie Williams back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Encinal Jets were beaten by the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons 85-43. While losing is never fun, the Jets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Peregrine Falcons are ranked 171st).

Encinal has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Archie Williams, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Encinal won't have much time to rest: their next game is against San Lorenzo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Archie Williams, they will face off against Justin-Siena at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
