Baseball Recap: Spring Creek Comes Up Short

Spring Creek managed to slip by Beddingfield the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gators came up short against the Bruins on Thursday, falling 11-5. The Gators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bruins earlier this season, when they won 9-8.

Rylan Kornegay was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Landon Hines was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Spring Creek and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Beddingfield, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-17.

As of now, neither Spring Creek nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
