Football Recap: Hershey Takes a Loss

Hershey entered their matchup against Kearney Catholic on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Panthers took a 29-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stars. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Stars from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Hershey's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Kearney Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hershey will take on rival Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kearney Catholic is set to square off against their familiar foe Valentine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
