Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum]). They breezed by the Klahowya Eagles to the tune of 70-31 on Tuesday. With the Rivals ahead 44-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Dylin Shockley went supernova for East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum], going 8 for 12 from beyond the arc on her way to 30 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kay Botkin, who posted 11 points in addition to seven steals and six assists.

East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Klahowya only racked up seven assists.

Despite the loss, Klahowya still got an impressive performance from Shyanne Kilmer, who put up 12 points and seven boards.

The victory was the third in a row for East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum], bringing their record for this year to 4-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Klahowya, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
