Recap: Rockmart Yellowjackets vs. Bowdon Red Devils
The Rockmart Yellowjackets waltzed into Thursday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 87-49 win over Bowdon. Fans of Rockmart have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Among those leading the charge was Treylin Davis, who scored 27 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Rockmart's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Luke, who scored 11 points along with 5 steals.
Rockmart's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.0 points per game. As for Bowdon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
