Volleyball Game Preview: Amador Valley Dons vs. University Red Devils

The Amador Valley Dons will head out to challenge the University Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Amador Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Terra Linda as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Dons as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Amador Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, University got the win against Granada on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

University was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-17.

University's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Amador Valley, their win bumped their record up to 15-12.

Amador Valley beat University 2-0 when the teams last played back in August of 2022. Do the Dons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
