Gatlinburg-Pittman is 7-1 against Chuckey-Doak since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Highlanders are taking a road trip to challenge the Black Knights at 6:00 p.m. Gatlinburg-Pittman will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Gatlinburg-Pittman turned things around against Cosby on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Gatlinburg-Pittman, who have now won four matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Chuckey-Doak had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Blue Devils. Give Chuckey-Doak's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Chuckey-Doak now has a winning record of 4-3-2. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, the win got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Gatlinburg-Pittman took their victory against Chuckey-Doak when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
