There's no place like home for Piedmont, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past the Westmoore Jaguars 3-2. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars on Saturday, too.

Piedmont had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 23-25, 26-24, 25-22, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Westmoore saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Oakley Bryce had eight digs and four aces.

Piedmont now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Westmoore, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.

Piedmont will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Jaguars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
