Volleyball Recap: Mulberry Grove Comes Up Short

Mulberry Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Edinburg Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Wednesday.

Mulberry Grove now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Edinburg, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 14-10 record.

Looking ahead, Mulberry Grove will welcome Brownstown/St. Elmo at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edinburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against South County on the 6th.
