Soccer Game Preview: Savannah vs. Chillicothe

Savannah is 2-8 against Chillicothe since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Savages will welcome the Hornets at 4:00 p.m.

Savannah had been on a five-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Benton put an end to it on Wednesday. The Savages fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Chillicothe ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cameron, sneaking past 4-3.

Savannah's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Chillicothe, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
