Powers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They managed a 45-40 win over the Alsea Wolverines. The victory was nothing new for the Cruisers as they're now sitting on 13 straight dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Powers will take on Eddyville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alsea, they will venture away from home to square off against Elkton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
