Sean Besley was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marques Blackburn, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Lookout Valley is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. As for Howard Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Howard Tech beat Lookout Valley 17-12 in their previous meeting on Thursday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Howard Tech since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
