Basketball Recap: Greenwood Christian Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Greenwood Christian took on Greenwood on Saturday. The Greenwood Christian Hawks took a hard 73-59 fall against the Greenwood Eagles.

Despite the loss, Greenwood Christian still got an impressive performance from Ty Kennedy, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 boards. That was a full 40.7% of Greenwood Christian's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Bryson Dixon was another key player, putting up nine points.

Greenwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cj Terrell, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Triston Lewis, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
