Volleyball Recap: Hinsdale Central Takes a Loss

The Hinsdale Central Red Devils came up short against the Cathedral Fighting Irish on Friday and fell 2-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bjorn Vinje paced Hinsdale Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Vinje got some help from Harry Hughes and his 18 assists. Ken Reodica controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hinsdale Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Cathedral, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Hinsdale Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Glenbard South on the 3rd. As for Cathedral, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Glenbard West on the 3rd.
