Whitehaven waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Arlington 59-27. Whitehaven has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 25 points or more this season.

Taniyah Hurt was nothing short of spectacular: she shot 67% from the field on her way to 15 points along with eight assists and six steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists. A'Zaria Blocker was another key player, putting up ten points and eight steals.

Hurt wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Whitehaven was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arlington only three assists.

Despite the defeat, Arlington saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kallie Marsh posted 11 points and five boards.

Whitehaven's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points on average over those games. As for Arlington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-16.

Whitehaven has already played their next game, a 39-30 victory against Memphis East on the 3rd. Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
