Preview: Williamstown Blue Devils vs. Twinfield Trojans

Williamstown is 9-0 against Twinfield since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Williamstown Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Twinfield Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Williamstown will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.

Last Friday, Williamstown came up short against Danville and fell 67-54. Even though they lost, Williamstown's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.3 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Evan Bailey put forth a good effort for the losing side as he went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points and 1 assist. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Laggner, who scored five points along with 12 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Twinfield strolled past Northfield with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 50-34.

Williamstown's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Twinfield, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.

Williamstown strolled past Twinfield in their previous matchup back in February of 2020 by a score of 60-46. Does Williamstown have another victory up their sleeve, or will Twinfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
