Baseball Game Preview: Manson Trojans vs. Tonasket Tigers

Manson is 2-8 against Tonasket since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Trojans will welcome the Tigers at 11:00 a.m. Manson has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Manson couldn't beat Oroville on Tuesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Trojans came up short against the Hornets, falling 21-6.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Tonasket sidestepped Omak for a 5-4 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Isaiah Spangler, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Manson's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Tonasket, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
