New Home waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Tahoka Bulldogs, posting a 92-14 victory. Given the Leopards' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 798th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

New Home pushed their record up to 22-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.0 points per game. As for Tahoka, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
