Baseball Game Preview: Pennridge Rams vs. North Penn Knights

For the second straight game, Pennridge will face off against North Penn. The Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennridge is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.

On Monday, Pennridge needed a bit of extra time to put away North Penn. They won by a run and slipped past the Knights 5-4.

For North Penn's part, Brighton Fontaine was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. That's the fewest earned runs Fontaine has allowed since back in April of 2025.

On the hitting side, Grayson Fontaine made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. Wil Rittenhouse was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

North Penn has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Pennridge, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
