Baseball Recap: Midland Park Gets the Win

While Midland Park's win against New Milford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Knights 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Fleming, who went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Carrea, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Midland Park's win bumped their record up to 13-4-1. As for New Milford, they moved to 10-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
