It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Mountain Ridge ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Southern Rams. Mountain Ridge's winning goal came courtesy of Harrison Ruddell.

Mountain Ridge's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-5-2. As for Southern, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Mountain Ridge will head out to take on Bishop Walsh at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southern, they will be playing at home against Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
