The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tremont, who took down 232nd ranked Flanagan/Woodland, 24-22.

The Turks were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Heart of Illinois. Earlier in the week, Tremont defeated the Falcons 24-22.

Flanagan/Woodland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Alec Dutko has thrown for 706 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Alex Erschen has 11 catches for 291 yards. Kody Appel leads the league in rushing with 744 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ridgeview takes on Tri-Valley. At the moment, the Mustangs are in fourth, while the Vikings are in first.

LeRoy moved up to 166 from 200 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Heart of Illinois. A 37-24 win over Ridgeview helped the Panthers improve their standing.
