Basketball Recap: Max Lake Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Verndale + How To Watch

After losing to Verndale the last time they met, Sebeka decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 39-30 on Thursday. The Trojans' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Sebeka's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Lake, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lake has scored at least a third of the Trojans' points. Another player making a difference was Kaison Campbell, who posted ten points along with six boards and three steals.
