Southlake Carroll hasn't lost a match since January 24th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Northwest Texans an 8-0 shutout. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by three goals or more this season.

Southlake Carroll pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five games. As for Northwest, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coming up, Southlake Carroll will host Bell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Southlake Carroll's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Bell's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Northwest, they will head out to square off against Byron Nelson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
