Jennings County is 7-1 against Greensburg since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will take on the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Jennings County was handed a seven-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past East Central 5-3.

The team relied heavily on Riley Byford, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. Emma Clapp was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Greensburg had no problem doing just that on Monday. They never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Greensburg is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That lines up perfectly with their 18-6 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.67 runs across that stretch. As for Jennings County, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

Jennings County took their win against Greensburg when the teams last played back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
