Basketball Recap: Shidler Takes a Loss

Shidler entered their contest against Kremlin-Hillsdale on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Shidler Tigers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Kremlin-Hillsdale Broncs an easy 62-37 victory. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Shidler's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5. As for Kremlin-Hillsdale, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Shidler will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Prue at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Kremlin-Hillsdale will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Cashion at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Cashion's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
