Softball Recap: Lone Pine Takes a Loss

Lone Pine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Mojave Mustangs. If the Golden Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lone Pine's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mojave, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Lone Pine will challenge Immanuel Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Golden Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mojave, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North at 3:15 p.m. on the 25th.
