Basketball Game Preview: Parkview Christian Patriots vs. Diller-Odell Griffin

The Parkview Christian Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the Diller-Odell Griffin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Parkview Christian strolled past Lewiston with points to spare, taking the game 62-48.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Diller-Odell). They were the clear victor by a 70-45 margin over Sterling on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Griffin in their matchups with the Jets: they've now won nine in a row.

Diller-Odell's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Parkview Christian, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Parkview Christian couldn't quite finish off Diller-Odell when the teams last played back in January and fell 49-46. Can Parkview Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
