Football Recap: Evanston Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Evanston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took an 18-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenbrook South Titans. While losing is never fun, the Wildkits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Titans are ranked 25th).

Evanston's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Glenbrook South, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Evanston is set to face off against their familiar foe New Trier at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Glenbrook South will square off against rival Deerfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
