Basketball Recap: Peaster Comes Up Short

Peaster has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were beaten by the Tolar Rattlers 47-19 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 723rd, while the Rattlers are ranked 282nd).

Peaster's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Tolar, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peaster will face off against Comanche at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Comanche will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Peaster surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tolar, they will challenge Early at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
