Basketball Game Preview: Harrison Panthers vs. Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders

The Harrison Panthers are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Harrison is headed out to face Thomas MacLaren School after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Harrison enjoyed a cozy 46-29 win over Pueblo Centennial last Tuesday. The Panthers pushed the score to 36-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Harrison had a senior duo take command as Nadia Turnipseed dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 steals and Nyleen Brown dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave Turnipseed a new career-high in steals.

Meanwhile, everything went Thomas MacLaren School's way against Kiowa on Saturday as Thomas MacLaren School made off with a 57-34 victory.
