Basketball Recap: Guernsey-Sunrise Comes Up Short

Guernsey-Sunrise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Southeast Cyclones 53-7. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 36-9 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Guernsey-Sunrise's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Southeast, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Guernsey-Sunrise will welcome Burns at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Guernsey-Sunrise is facing Burns at the right time seeing as Burns is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Southeast, they will face off against Pine Bluffs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
