Hidden Valley proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Pulaski County Cougars 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Wyatt Clarke was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Hidden Valley's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pulaski County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
