Basketball Recap: Alexander Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Alexander entered their tilt with East Paulding on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the East Paulding Raiders 82-63. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly 19 points.

Alexander's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gregory Dunson, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 21 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Goodlow, who went 7 of 10 en route to 15 points.

Dunson wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Alexander was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.9 points per game. Kennesaw Mountain has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 217 points over their last three contests. As for East Paulding, they will be playing at home against Lithia Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lithia Springs' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
