Baseball Recap: Saline Comes Up Short

Saline and Georgetown squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Saline had to settle for second. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Saline has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Georgetown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

While Saline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
