Softball Recap: Northwestern Wildcats vs. North East Grape Pickers
In what's become a running theme this season, Northwestern gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North East Grape Pickers a 17-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Northwestern needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.
Northwestern has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for North East, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwestern will face off against Seneca at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North East, they will head out on the road to take on Fort LeBoeuf at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
