The Lincoln Charter Eagles will challenge the Pine Lake Prep Pride at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.

Lincoln Charter is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals last Monday, they were much more limited against Community School of Davidson on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. Lincoln Charter's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Ethan Bohanick, who's now up to 21 this season.

Meanwhile, Pine Lake Prep entered their tilt with Lake Norman Charter on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Pine Lake Prep's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Lake Norman Charter are ranked 256th).

Pine Lake Prep's win bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Lincoln Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-2-1.
