Frostproof won the last time they faced Mulberry and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Panthers 44-12. Considering the Bulldogs have won five games by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Despite the loss, Mulberry still got an impressive performance from Josiah Cobbett, who picked up 158 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The win was the fourth in a row for Frostproof, bringing their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points on average over those games. As for Mulberry, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Frostproof will square off against Fort Meade at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Miners' defense has only allowed 9.4 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mulberry, they will take on North Port at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
