Gorham waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Cheverus Stags. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted since October 10, 2024.

Gorham was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 15-25, 23-25, 25-12, 15-9.

Luna Button paced Gorham's offense, picking up 15 kills. Button got some help from Liana Edwards and her 32 assists. Adyson Hutchins controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Cheverus' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ada Pultorak, who had 19 assists and three aces, and Anna Grace Hebert, who had 31 digs. Hebert is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Gorham's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Cheverus, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.

Gorham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Scarborough on the 11th. Cheverus has also already played their next match (against Bonny Eagle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
