York was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Jamestown Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-18.

Keira Flowers paced York's offense, picking up six kills. Flowers got some help from Sophia Tschida and her 14 assists. Finally, Penny Scheid kept York's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Jamestown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kira Van Deusen out in front who had 12 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Van Deusen has posted since back in September. Peyton Tilley was another key player, getting 17 assists.

York's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Jamestown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.
