Soccer Recap: Maranatha Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Maranatha was not quite South Pasadena's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the South Pasadena Tigers by a score of 1-0. The Minutemen haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Maranatha's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for South Pasadena, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Maranatha wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 defeat against Pasadena on the 10th. As for South Pasadena, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Charter Oak on the 9th.
