Softball Recap: East Helena Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hardin last Thursday, East Helena came back down to earth. The Vigilantes fell 11-8 to the Park Rangers on Wednesday.

Madison Hogue made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Westerhold, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

East Helena's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Park, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

While East Helena had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
