Basketball Recap: Mineral Ridge Rams vs. McDonald Blue Devils
Mineral Ridge had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the McDonald Blue Devils 63-31. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 32 points or more this season.
Leading Mineral Ridge to victory were Sullivan Sandy and Ava Hulett. Sandy went 9 for 18 en route to 23 points, while Hulett went 8 of 20 on her way to 18 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. Hulett is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last three games she's played.
