Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last eight matchups, Roosevelt finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 16-1 to the Hunter College Hawks. The contest marked Roosevelt's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Roosevelt dropped their record down to 6-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hunter College, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hunter College beat Roosevelt by a score of 17-8 on Friday.
