Juneau-Douglas was forced to take a big defeat against they on Friday, they got the better of them on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Lathrop Malemutes. This was a revenge game for the Crimson Bears: when they faced off against the Malemutes on Friday, they had to take a 11-1 loss.

Alayna Echiverri was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 13 matchups. Another player making a difference was Bryanna Eakes, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Juneau-Douglas is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Lathrop, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Juneau-Douglas will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Malemutes: the pair will be back at it again later today.
