While Fieldston's win against Dalton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles skirted past the Tigers 5-3. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Tigers on their field since May 10, 2023.

The victory made it two in a row for Fieldston and bumps their season record up to 9-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-6 Dalton and 2-4 Trinity. As for Dalton, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Fieldston will challenge King at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.2 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dalton, they will face off against Trinity at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
