Whitney's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Del Oro Golden Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

They hit Del Oro with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zach Laduzinski, Nick Springsteel, and Lucca Bainotti.

Whitney's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-2. As for Del Oro, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Whitney will head out to square off against Oak Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Oro will take on Rocklin in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
