Soccer Game Preview: Elgin vs. Santa Fe South

Elgin is 0-4 against Santa Fe South since March of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Owls will host the Saints at 7:00 p.m. This will be Elgin's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Elgin fell victim to Putnam City West and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe South and Northwest Classen faced off in a cross-town battle back in March. The Saints sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Santa Fe South.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Santa Fe South, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-2.
